Windows Home Server invalid handle
I take no responsibility for anything but here is a temporary fix I found from the WHS forums. First make sure in the WHS console that all of your drives are showing up. I have had a drive disappear which resulted in invalid handles until I fixed the drive.
Navigate to d:\shares\Problem Folder\. In my example it is the Misc folder in my pictures share.
Right click and choose properties on the problem folder. Then click the choose the Security tab.
Next wait for the advanced button to be enabled and click it.
Now check the “Replace permissions entries on…”
Finally hit okay and wait for it to finish. Hopefully this solves your problem.

I found a way around this. Instead of moving the file to my desktop, I used the ‘email as an attachment’ option. It opens the email and has it in the attachment. From there, I dragged it to my desktop. Yeah me!
